Hi everyone! Here’s the last day of the week…

Let me sum up what we’ve covered this week:

We’ve learnt how to:

  • Shift your networking from pressure to connection

  • Open conversations without asking for a job

  • Rebuild your visibility with intention, and without the noise

Now, let me tell you a story that happened late 2024.

My client spent 14 years in the same company. Not because she was stuck, but because things were good. She was trusted, respected, and known internally. When projects came up, her name followed naturally. Her work spoke for her, and for a long time, that was enough.

LinkedIn never (ever) felt urgent. Networking felt optional. She didn’t need to keep in touch “just in case” because there was no case. She had stability, momentum, and a clear place.

Then the layoff came. Professional. Clean. No drama.

At first, she wasn’t too worried. 14 years of experience gives you confidence. She assumed things would move fast once she started looking.

But when she reached out, something felt off. Outside her company, very few people actually knew her. In fact, her external network was inexistent. Her name didn’t trigger recognition. Her experience didn’t land the way she expected.

Her entire professional identity had lived under one logo for so long that, once it disappeared, so did her visibility.

She hadn’t done anything wrong. She had simply invested all her credibility in one ecosystem.

Rebuilding didn’t mean selling herself or asking for a job. It meant reconnecting. Showing up. Letting people see who she was beyond a title. Slowly, conversations restarted. Context came back. So did opportunities.

That’s what networking really is.

that’s why we are spending one full week strengthening your skills around it.

Next week, we’ll shift gears!
Because once the strategy is in place, we need to keep the great momentum: staying grounded, positive, and mentally strong while searching for a job. We’ll talk about mindset, the kind that helps you keep going, even when things feel slow or uncertain.

🚀🚀🚀🚀 I want a job. I want to discuss my situation 🚀🚀🚀

If you want a job, you’ve read the articles, understood the theory, and nodded along thinking “yes, I get it”…
but you still haven’t taken concrete action,

it’s time to move. »» Put yourself in motion and reach out.
It starts with a simple conversation .. where I’ll show you how fast things can move when you’re not doing it alone. 🚀

Have a lovely weekend!

Yours

Stephanie
