This week we'll focus on making your value obvious .

You'll learn how to communicate what you do, what you bring, and why it matters, in a way that feels authentic and lands with the people who need to hear it.

What story am I telling today (even unintentionally)?

Most of my clients don't realize their CV is already telling a story, they just haven't chosen which one.

Right now, your CV and LinkedIn are communicating something about you. The question is: is it the story you want to tell?

Quick reflection (5 minutes):

  • Open your CV or LinkedIn profile

  • Read it as if you're meeting yourself for the first time

  • What impression do you get? What does this person care about? What are they good at?

  • Is that the story you want to tell?

Write down 2–3 words that describe the story you are telling, and 2–3 words for the story you want to tell.

What should people remember about me?

If someone met you at a networking event, or interviewed you, or skimmed your LinkedIn: what's the one thing you want them to remember?

=> Write a simple positioning statement

Use this formula:

"I help [who] with [what] by [how/your unique approach]."

Example:

  • "I help small marketing teams get campaigns out the door faster by streamlining workflows and removing bottlenecks."

  • "I support HR leaders navigating change by designing communication strategies that bring people along."

Keep it conversational. If it sounds like corporate jargon, simplify it.

Tomorrow we will go through the difference between your Linkedin profile and your CV…

Yours,

Stephanie
